The function of the centre is not only to book tours and accommodation, but to pass on information regarding local businesses, road conditions, events, tides, bus timetables and anything pertaining to Broome, the Kimberley and the Pilbara region. For visitors and locals alike the first stop in answering any queries, no matter how simple they may seem, is the Broome Visitor Centre.

The Kununurra Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a vibrant coordinating body promoting Kununurra as the leading centre of tourism, agriculture and industry in the East Kimberley.



Indigenous Coordination Centres or ICCs operate in 30 locations around Australia. They look after most of the Australian Government's Indigenous programs and can bring together innovative funding packages to meet local and regional needs. ICCs are managed by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.



Tourism Western Australia is responsible for promoting Western Australia as an attractive holiday, event, convention and incentive travel destination, nationally and overseas and enhancing the tourism industry, infrastructure and product base.



The Kimberley Development Commission is a statutory authority of the government of Western Australia. Its role is to promote the economic and social development of this magnificent region of Australia. Their mission is to facilitate the development of the Kimberley for the prosperity and benefit of all its people.





The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) is the Australian Government's principal source of advice on social policy. FaHCSIA works in partnership with other government and non-government organisations in the management of a diverse range of programs and services designed to support and improve the lives of Australians. Through its Office for Indigenous Policy Coordination, FaHCSIA is responsible for coordinating a whole of government approach to programs and services for Indigenous Australians, and has a central role in the Australian Government's arrangements in Indigenous Affairs.

 


The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations is the lead government agency providing national leadership in education and workplace training, transition to work and conditions and values in the workplace. DEEWR work in collaboration with the states and territories and have offices and agencies throughout Australia and overseas allowing an active, national and client-focused approach.
